#2 02 Hard Chrome Plating Solution No. 71100 $100.00/pail When used with the proper equipment will produce a fine grain, dense, ductile hard chrome. Use only for initial make-up of a new bath. For adding to an existing bath use #202A solution or dry solid. Concentrated, add 1 gallon of distilled water to each gallon of #202 Solution.
#202A Hard Chrome Plating Solution No. 71120 $100.00/pail To be used when adding chrome to an existing bath of #202 Solution. Concentrated. Supplied in 5-gallon plastic pails.
#202A Chrome Plating Additive, Solid No. 71152 $6.75/lb Same as the #202A Solution above, only it is supplied as a dry formula for adding to an already existing bath. A catalyst must be added when making a new bath. Can be shipped via UPS in 5 lb. cans.
#1000 Hard Chrome Plating Solution No. 71130 $195.00/pail Similar to the #202 but mixed at a higher concentration. Add 2 gallons of distilled water to each gallon of #1000 Solution.
Chrome Strip No. 71220 $3.65/lb Makes up an alkaline solution used electrolytically for the removal of hard or decorative chromium. Will remove chromium without attacking the base metal. Used in a mild steel tank, heated, and with a D.C. power supply. 2 lb. per gallon.
Alkaline Cleaner No. 71200 $3.50/lb A caustic free, heavy duty soak cleaner for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Effective in removing a wide variety of soils and oils. 4 to 12 oz/gallon.
Anode Cleaner No. 71210 $3.00/lb A reusable lead anode cleaner for removing the oxide and chromate build-up on anodes and lead tanks. Can be used several times. Mix 2 lb. per gallon.
ElectroCleaner No. 71219 $3.50/lb A low-foaming, general purpose anodic electrocleaner for steel. Has excellent cleaning, activating, and non-smutting properties. Maintains a light foam blanket on tank surface to prevent misting and fuming. Mix 8 to 12 oz/gallon. Used in a mild steel tank, heated, and with a D.C. power supply.
Fume Suppressant No. 71417 $125.00/gal A concentrated liquid fume suppressant for chrome plating baths. It lowers the surface tension for compliance with air discharge regulations. It is a low-foaming type of fume suppressant. It is a permanent fume suppressant that is not oxidized by the chrome bath. A make-up of 1.0% by volume, or 1 gallon per 100 gallons of bath. Will reduce the surface tension to approximately 35 dynes/cm.
